Terms of use

The commercial side of the relationship: what you pay, how it renews, how you stop, and what happens to your positions when you do. What the software is and is not lives in the disclosure you accept in the app. Last updated: 2026-09-11.

Who you are contracting with

AlphaQuantAgent LLC, a limited liability company organized in Wyoming, United States, with its principal office at 30 N Gould St, Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801. Write to us at hello@alphaquantagent.com.

The disclosure governs. Before any order is submitted on your behalf you accept a versioned disclosure in the app. That document — not this page — is the agreement about what the software is, what it is not, what can go wrong and who bears what. These terms cover the commercial relationship: your subscription, your account and how either of us ends it. Where the two describe the same thing they say the same thing; if they ever diverge, the signed disclosure governs.

What you need before you can use it

  • You are at least 18 years old and using the service for yourself.
  • You have your own brokerage account at a supported broker, opened by you, in your name. We are not a party to that relationship.
  • You are not resident in, or acting on behalf of anyone in, a jurisdiction we are not permitted to serve. The disclosure lists these.
  • You give the software trade-only credentials for that account. They can place and cancel orders and cannot move money out.

Your subscription

The service is sold as a monthly subscription in four plans, at 9.90, 19.90, 24.90 and 35.90 US dollars per month. The price is flat: it does not vary with the size of your account or with how the strategies perform, and there is no setup fee.

The first 60 days are free, and we do not ask for a card to start them. Your subscription starts in a trial period of 60 days during which you are not charged, and Stripe's checkout does not request a payment method to begin it. To carry on past day 60 you add one in the billing portal, and the first charge is taken then. If no payment method is on file when the trial ends, the subscription is paused instead: nothing is charged, the agent stops trading for you, and it resumes if you add a card later.

It renews by itself. After the trial, the subscription renews every month and is charged in advance for the month ahead, to the payment method on file, until you cancel. Card details go to Stripe directly and never reach our servers.

If a payment fails, Stripe will retry it. While the subscription is unpaid the agent stops trading for you — see the next section for exactly what that means.

Cancelling, and what happens to your positions

You can cancel at any time from the billing section of the app, which opens Stripe's customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; the service keeps running until then.

When the subscription ends, the agent stops placing orders. It does not sell anything. Every position stays exactly where it is, in your brokerage account, in your name. Nothing is liquidated, closed or moved by us. From that moment the positions are yours to manage directly at your broker, and no stop, trailing protection or circuit breaker of ours is watching them any more.

That last point matters more than it may read. Some of the strategies open positions that are meant to be managed — options that expire, allocations that are meant to rotate. If you cancel while those are open, managing them becomes yours.

You can also just pause the agent from the dashboard without cancelling, which stops new orders while your subscription continues.

Refunds

We do not pro-rate the month in progress: if you cancel mid-period, the service runs to the end of the period you paid for and there is no partial refund.

We do refund the obvious things, and you should not have to argue for them: a charge taken after you cancelled, a duplicate charge, a charge at the wrong price, or a charge during what should have been your trial. Write to us and we will refund it.

Anything else, ask. We would rather answer than have you dispute a charge with your bank.

Changes to the price and to the service

We may change what a plan costs, or what it includes. If we change the price of a plan you are subscribed to, we will tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does. We will not raise the price of an active subscription without that notice.

The strategies themselves change: rules and parameters are versioned, and each change is recorded in a changelog with the version that produced it. A change applies to everyone on that engine — we do not tune a strategy for an individual account.

What you agree not to do

  • Share your account with someone else, or use the service on behalf of a third party without telling us.
  • Give us credentials for an account that is not yours, or credentials that can withdraw funds.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or work around its limits.
  • Use the service where you are not permitted to, or to do anything unlawful.

When we can suspend or end your account

We may suspend or terminate the service if you break these terms, if we are required to, if your payment fails and stays unpaid, or if we stop offering the service. Except where the law or a serious breach requires otherwise, we will give you notice and will not charge you for a period we terminate.

The same rule as above applies: ending the service stops the agent. It does not touch your positions, which remain yours at your broker.

Risk, and the limits of what we promise

Trading involves the risk of loss, including loss of the entire amount you put at risk. Automated software can act on bad data, fail to act, or act in a way that costs you money. None of that is hypothetical and all of it is set out in the disclosure you accept before anything runs.

The release, the limitation of liability and the description of what the software is and is not live in that document, and are not restated here on purpose: two versions of a liability clause in different words is how one of them stops meaning anything.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. This paragraph does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence.

Changes to these terms

Any change is posted here with a new date at the top. A change that materially affects what you pay or what you get is also announced in the app before it applies to you.
