Investing has changed.

Markets are increasingly monitored and traded by software. Professional investors rely on infrastructure. Most individual investors still rely on time.

AQ closes that gap.

Without professional infrastructure
  • Checking markets when you have time.
  • Manual monitoring.
  • Delayed reactions.
  • Portfolio drift.
  • One source of returns.
With AQ
  • Continuous monitoring.
  • Portfolio orchestration.
  • Systematic execution.
  • Additional capabilities.
  • Transparent supervision.

Watch the system work.

This is not marketing. This is how AQ operates.

From the founder

“I built AQ because I wanted it managing my own money first.”

For years I watched my portfolio only when work allowed — which meant late, or not at all. The professionals I knew didn't work harder at this. They had systems. So I built one, connected it to my own brokerage account, and let it run the process I could never sustain by hand. That system became AlphaQuantAgent. It has been running on my own money since day one.

— Segundo Perez Preciado, Founder

What you're really buying.

Not software. Not AI. Not bots. Capabilities that used to require a team.

Professional Monitoring

Your portfolio and the markets it lives in, watched continuously — so nothing depends on when you happen to look.

On every cycle the agent evaluates your portfolio and its market regime — 200-day trend filters, drift checks and health probes run continuously, not when you remember to log in.

Portfolio Orchestration

Your allocation kept on plan as conditions change — reviewed, adapted and rebalanced without you carrying the discipline alone.

Several engines share one budget. As regimes shift, capital rotates between them and rebalances back to plan — coordination that is hard to hold by hand across many positions.

Professional Options Automation

Techniques professionals use to add return sources — executed systematically in your account, without the manual workload.

Wheel, iron condor and cash-secured puts are executed by rule: strike selection, roll timing and assignment handling are automated, under the same risk controls as every other engine.

Transparent Execution

Every action logged and explained in plain language. You see what was done, when, and why — you remain in control.

Every order carries a plain-language reason and lands in the activity log, and every backtest is committed to the public repo. Nothing about the process is a black box.

Reporting & alerts

Weekly and monthly reports in your inbox, plus real-time alerts when something needs your attention.

You choose the cadence and the sections — P&L, recent moves, active strategies, account health — and critical risk alerts (risk guard triggered, broker connection down) are always on by default. Quiet hours, vacation pause and a verified delivery address are all configurable from Settings.

Frequently asked questions.

How much does AQ Agent return?

We don't promise a number. Any specific return figure would be a promise we can't honestly make — the market decides that, not us. What we can show you is the system itself: it runs live on the founder's own capital, unedited, in the Live Room, and every backtest is committed to the source repo for you to run yourself. The architecture is built to capture equity premium in a bull regime (the growth engine holds SPY/QQQ above the 200-day moving average and rotates into T-bills below), with diversified income, defensive and crypto engines layered on top, all under a drawdown circuit breaker that flattens everything if losses exceed the portfolio's budget. Higher-growth portfolios carry more volatility. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

Is the Live Room real?

Yes. It's the founder's own account, updated automatically, unedited — including losing days. Paper accounts are labeled as simulated capital.

Is AQ Agent a registered investment adviser?

No. AQ Agent offers algorithmic trading software as a service. It is not an investment adviser, broker, or fund manager. You stay the account holder and decide to activate the service. All trading happens in your own brokerage account.

Can AQ Agent withdraw my money?

No. The broker API keys we use are trade-only. They have no access to ACH transfers, withdrawals, or external transfers. Your funds can only move through your own broker portal.

Do I really trade commission-free?

AQ Essential trades 100% US stocks and ETFs, which the compatible broker charges no commission on — so the agent can trade as often as it needs without commissions eating your return. Portfolios that add the income engine use options, which do pay minimal regulatory and clearing fees per contract. In all cases, AQ Agent charges a separate monthly subscription.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel anytime with 30 days' notice. We stop the agent, hand over the dashboard credentials, and your brokerage account keeps its history. No fees, no penalties.

How much capital do I need?

Whatever you prefer — the amounts we show are recommendations, not a hard floor. The reason for the recommendation is mechanical: each engine works best with enough capital to size its positions (the wheel, for instance, needs room for one full contract). As a guide: AQ Essential works well from ~$5,000 (100% stocks and ETFs, commission-free); AQ Income adds the income engine and is best used from ~$30,000; AQ Growth from ~$75,000 adds crypto and Nasdaq; AQ Architect from ~$200,000 unlocks the flagship wheel. Start with the portfolio that makes the most sense for you.

Do I need trading experience?

No. The agent handles everything. You just need a supported brokerage account (Alpaca today, more on the way) and capital to deploy.

Can I run it on paper first?

Yes. You start in paper mode, free for 60 days, to see how the agent operates before going live. No real capital moves until you turn it on.

What are the investment engines?

AQ Agent runs rule-based strategies grouped into five engines: Growth (buy-&-hold of SPY or SPY+QQQ with an SMA-200 filter — the primary return engine), Active Growth (a concentrated basket of individual growth stocks: an AI model proposes the monthly list, which is frozen and auditable, and a deterministic 9-signal engine manages the positions daily), Defensive (Faber GTAA across 13 ETFs spanning equities, bonds, REITs, commodities and gold), Income (wheel + iron condor + cash-secured puts on indices) and Crypto (BTC/ETH with an SMA-100 regime filter) — plus, on AQ Architect only, Conviction: positions you direct by symbol and size, which the agent executes and risk-manages under the same protections (ATR stops, trailing overlay, circuit breaker). Your portfolio decides which engines are available — AQ Essential ships Growth + Defensive, and each level adds more. Within your portfolio, you turn engines on or off from Settings. A portfolio-wide drawdown circuit breaker flattens everything if losses exceed the budget. Order execution and risk management are fully deterministic and rule-based; the only AI-assisted step is the monthly Active Growth stock list — frozen, audited, and validated in paper before it can earn more weight.
