Getting help

One address, answered by the people who build this. Write to hello@alphaquantagent.com and you will normally hear back within one business day.

If something looks wrong, pause first

The agent runs on a schedule whether or not anyone is watching it. If a position, an order or a number looks wrong to you, open Settings → Vacation mode in the app or the dashboard and pause it before you write to us. A paused agent stops opening and closing positions; it is not making the situation harder to unwind while we look.

Pausing does not close anything and does not touch your money. You can resume whenever you want.

What to send us

Your account email, roughly when you noticed the problem, and what you expected to see instead. A screenshot helps but is not required.

The History screen holds the record of every decision and every order the agent made, so in most cases that is enough for us to reconstruct what happened without asking you for anything else.

Never send us your broker API keys or your password. We cannot read your keys — they are encrypted and used only to place trades — and we will never ask you for them.

Things you can do yourself

Pause or resume the agent — Settings → Vacation mode.

Change where reports are sent — Alerts → notification email. The new address has to confirm a link before anything is sent to it.

Change your time zone or quiet hours — Settings, and Alerts for the quiet window.

Turn an engine off — Manage → Engines. Changes apply on the agent's next cycle, and the screen says so.

Stop everything at once — Manage → the danger zone has a control that cancels open orders and closes positions at market. It is deliberately hard to hit by accident.

Closing your account

You can close your account from inside the app: Manage → the danger zone → close account. You will be asked to type a word to confirm, because this is not reversible.

Closing the account stops the agent, deletes your broker credentials from our vault and anonymizes your profile. It does not sell your positions. Whatever is open at your broker stays open, in your name, under your control — closing an account here is not a liquidation, and we will not trade on your behalf as a side effect of you leaving.

Your consent records and the financial history the law requires us to keep outlive the account. That is stated in the privacy notice, and it is why the account is anonymized rather than erased.

If you would rather we did it for you, or you want a copy of your data first, write to hello@alphaquantagent.com.

What we are, and what we are not

AlphaQuantAgent LLC publishes software that operates a brokerage account you open and hold in your own name at Alpaca Securities LLC. We are not your broker, we are not a registered investment adviser, and we never take custody of your money.

That means some questions belong to your broker rather than to us: deposits and withdrawals, identity verification, tax documents, account statements, and anything about the money itself. We will tell you when that is the case rather than guessing on their behalf.
